Shaker Consulting Group Hires Dr. Christie Cox to Support Virtual Job Tryout with Global Clients

CLEVELAND – [February 28, 2012] - Shaker Consulting Group has hired Dr. Christie Cox as Virtual Job Tryout HR Analytics Scientist. Cox, a native of Virginia, with a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, brings a unique mix of capabilities to the firm.

“Her experience in global assessment implementation and HR analytics offer great value for supporting our multi-national clients. Her expertise will prove invaluable as we expand our client base in Asia and Europe,” said Joseph P. Murphy, vice president of Shaker Consulting Group.

“Change management and implementation across a global footprint requires special attention and communication methods. My experience with global assessments at Marriott International will facilitate embedding the Virtual Job Tryout with multi-national users,” said Dr. Cox.

Previously, Cox supported pre-employment testing implementation and performed HR analytics as the Senior Manager, Talent Management Analytics and Solutions at Marriott International. She recently presented research on cultural considerations with implementing global selection and employee engagement programs at the annual conference of the Society for Industrial Organizational Psychology (SIOP)

Cox, a native of Virginia, holds a B.S. in Psychology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Blacksburg, VA, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from The University of Akron, Akron, OH.
