Shaker Consulting Group Hires Dr. E. Daly Vaughn
CLEVELAND – July 21, 2011 - Shaker Consulting Group has hired Dr. E. Daly Vaughn as Virtual Job Tryout Design Scientist. Vaughn, a native of Texas, with a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, brings a unique mix of capabilities to the firm.
“His experience in social media and HR analytics offer great value for pre-employment assessment design. His expertise will prove invaluable as we optimize our service offering in the evolving era of social media recruiting,” said Joseph P. Murphy, vice president of Shaker Consulting Group.
“Hiring managers need candidate data that predicts on-the-job performance. Through engaging candidate experiences and HR analytics, we can provide that,” said Dr. Vaughn.
Previously, Vaughn designed and implemented evaluation methods and performed HR analytics as a Consortium Research Fellow for the U.S. Army Research Institute at Fort Benning, GA. As a consultant to Donaldson, Inc, a multinational manufacturer, he conducted needs analysis, provided instructional design, and evaluation methods for improving safety training effectiveness. He recently published research in the Journal of Business and Psychology on the use of social networking sites in hiring decisions. Vaughn holds a B.A. in Psychology from Baylor University in Waco, TX, and a M.A. and Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Auburn University in Alabama.
